Welcome to the Department of Excellence – The Department of Sociology, Development and Security Studies at Murang’ a University of Technology. The department offers PhD, Masters, Undergraduate, Diploma and Certificate courses in the following Fields of study: 

• PhD in Development Studies
• Masters in Development Studies
• Criminology and Security Studies
• Development Studies with Information Technology

 All the degree programmes have been approved and accredited by the Commission for University Education while Diplomas and Certificates have been approved by the Murang’ a University of Technology Senate.
